I'm 21 under 5ft and closer to 16 stone then 15. I'm so unhappy with my weight and I want to do something about it before it affects my health but I don't know where to start. I have severe scoliosis and my doctor says I can't go to the gym because one wrong move and I could at worse end up with partial paralysis. I've a low income and limited knowledge on nutrition and improving my diet and how to adapt what I can cook into healthier versions. I feel so self conscious and frumpy, it's like my life is over before its begun, I've looked into adopting but obviously I need to lower my BMI otherwise I'll be rejected. Any advice or just words of encouragement is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi User

You've made the first move by looking for help and support so congratulations on that Flowers

Eighteen months ago I was in a similar position, disabled same weight and height with a number of other obstacles

To date I've lost 41/4 stone by doing weight watchers at home online, in my case having done ww previously I had a good knowledge base but just needed that point in time when I said this is no longer who I want to be

Why not have a look at the various programmes around, ww slimming world? Read the magazines and see if you like one more than the other?

There is lots of online support from them and sport isn't compulsory
