Can anyone suggest any improvements/new ideas for what I eat in a typical day? Feel free to add your own.

Breakfast:

Nutribullet smoothie of kale/avocado/blueberries or raspberries
Small bowl of full fat Greek yoghurt with almonds
2 scrambled eggs, tomatoes and spinach or sometimes smoked salmon

Lunch:
Smoked salmon, full fat cream cheese and spinach on ryvita
Chicken Caesar salad
Cauliflower rice, tomatoes, tuna and cheese salad

Supper:
Chicken and bacon with philidelphia and leeks and broccoli
Fish with mixed greens
Sweet potato curry
Cajun salmon with sweet potato wedges

Snack:
Handful of nuts
Small bowl of Greek yoghurt
Babybel
2 squares dark chocolate
2 ryvita with hummus

Typical day would be one meal from each with two snacks.

I'm assuming you don't all of that every day!

Looks very healthy to me.

Why do you ask?

ThinkPinkStink · 19/05/2016 14:11

It looks nice and healthy - in order to make any real comments we'll need to know what you're trying to achieve, is it to lose weight, gain weight, gain muscle, maintain healthy weight, avoid osteoporosis, etc.?

ApplesTheHare · 19/05/2016 14:16

Looks healthy assuming you eat one thing from each section on any given day...?

oldlaundbooth · 19/05/2016 14:17

Is this a stealth boast? Grin

PuraVida · 19/05/2016 14:18

You have a three course breakfast and lunch Shock

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 19/05/2016 14:19

Looks pretty good to me - if I was being really nit picky I'd possible be concerned about the potential low amount of veg you are eating?

PuraVida · 19/05/2016 14:19

Sorry I was so jealous in awe, o didn't read your last sentence

BooAvenue · 19/05/2016 14:26

I'm trying to lose weight, but I've had major food issues in the past with horrendous binge eating and then doing starvation diets (

So you exercise at all? I knkw it's 90% diet, but building some muscle can change your body shape in a food way, and more muscle mass means a higher BMR...

Your diet looks very good however, if your weight loss is slowing, I would look at portion size and fat content.

I eat a very clean diet and my weight loss has been very slow. I just got the Louise Parker Method (lean for life) and it highlights that there is a wave of overweight organic clean eaters because a calorie is still a calorie and you need to have a deficit to loose weight!

The penny has finally dropped for me!

Smaller portions and lower (not no) fat. Do a teaspoon of olive oil, not an oil spill or half fat mozzarella etc.

Good luck.

If you are trying to lose weight, you won't do it on that. It looks like a reduced carb diet, sort of. It would probably be a good healthy maintenance diet.
If you want to lose, try looking at the Low carb thread. Basically, you need to cut out the dairy, the sweet potato, the nuts and up the leafy green veg a lot, then you might start losing. Coffee ok, but absolutely no cake or booze. Good luck!
