Just started slimming world and as a veggie it's fab on Green - we just our normal food minus the garlic bread and nightly choc pig out!

How do you make syn free onion bhajees and korma???? Think I need to look at the website maybe?

Thoughts for meals are: Quorn chilli and rice, pasta bake with half fat mozzarella top, stir fry and lentil moussaka....

rissotto

minced beef from allowance browned
half a cup of rice
chopped onion (cook for 2 mins in microwave first)
chopped or grated carrot
mushrooms
cauliflower
peppers
anything else veg wise you fancy
tin of tomatoes
squirt of tomato puree
veg stock cube
3/4 pint of water

boil & simmer up for just under an hour making sure it doesn't get too dry

top with really finely grated cheese from daily allowence.

only syn is the stock cube - but that recipe is for 3 or 4 servings so it's not bad at all.

Sin free onion Bhajees - mash 6oz potato dry frylight a couple of chopped onions mix together with tin of chickpeas, curry powder & turmeric and a beaten egg. mould into mini balls and put in fridge for 1/2 hour spray with fry light and bake in oven for 15 mins

Not bad, not quite the deep fried ones you can get from the inidan but a not bad substitute!

Tonight is a red night but lots of bits and pieces : smoked salmon, prawns , salad and seafood sticks and maybe a sneaky glass of wine to help

Aha, the magazine!! I wasn't thinking of getting the mag as only some of the recipes will be veggie?

Many thanks for the onion bhajee one - DP is getting quite into the whole SW thing so am trying to get some recipes for him to try. Today's Guardian Weekend mag had a good adaptable one if anyone has it (in the New Vegetarian article).

I had 2 poached eggs and SW chips at my mum's and it was lovely.
