Baby steps to reduce sugar

Can someone give me some? I eat healthy at meal times but snack on cereal, bread and jam. I also crave something sweet - a yoghurt or the likes for after a meal. Any tips to help me cut back?

I struggled with sugar for many years, and one of the first steps I took to cut back was replace sugar with fruit. Dates are incredibly sweet and I would snack on a couple after a meal if I was craving something. Fresh or frozen berries in greek yogurt might work for you? Replace your typical cereals and breads with whole wheat versions, buy that fancy jam only made with fruit juices rather than refined sugar.

Dump all the treats, and if you want a cake/biscuit, you need to bake it yourself. Saves you from all those mysterious ingredients, and (if you're like me) chances are you won't want to bake when a craving hits, so you move past it instead.
