Id like a diet that is not too faddy, but which helps me with eating "real" food. I'm also not keen on weighing everything / working out the calories etc. I just want to join something that will help me stick to healthy eating! any suggestions? I'm thinking of joining online only whichever I choose Smile thanks

I've done both and had success with each of them. I prefer slimming world as I have a health appetite and love fruit and veg but hate weighing and counting. It's essentially lean meats, carbs without fat added and veg. I love it. Best of luck with whichever you choose. Grin

I've also done both, but SW more recently (have lost 6 stone in 2 years). With Weight Watchers you basically have to account for everything you eat; working out points for each food. SW has a large amount of 'free' foods (that you can eat as much as you like of) and then everything else has to be accounted for in either healthy extras (bread/cereal and cheese/milk) or syns (everything else). SW works best if you cook from scratch, WW might be easier if you want to be able to eat 'diet' convenience foods (although SW do now have a range of ready meals).

From what you say I think SW would be better for you, as, at least for me, it really helps you to focus on healthy eating.
