Sweat pants and belts

Hi. Did anyone try to loose some inches using the sweat belt or pants? I see people wearing them . Do you think they work?

You mean like the plastic coated pants that boxers run in pre weigh- in? Yes they work in that they make you sweat heavily and so dehydrate you- therefore you are lighter, but as soon as you drink your weight will just go back up again. I do a lot of trail running in hot temperatures. Can easily finish a 3 hr run 2kg lighter but then drink 2 L of water over the next couple of hrs and it goes back up.
