C section pouch and numbness

Hello. Not sure where to post this really. Am finally motivated to try to lose weight - dd is now 7 months. I am the same weight as I was pre-pregnancy. Didn't actually put much weight on in pregnancy but I was a couple of stones overweight when I fell pregnant. I am very tall though so hide weight pretty well. I ended up with a c section which I am still miffed about primarily as I have a horrible pouch/overhang and my stomach is still completely numb from about 3 inches below my belly button down to my scar. I hate the feeling- it feels like someone else's stomach and I hate my husband touching it. Will I ever lose the pouch if I lose weight or get more feeling back? I want my old belly back but don't think it will ever be the same again...

I still have a bit of a pouch after my second c-section and had numbness/pins and needles for ages afterward which felt very odd - like you I felt that it somehow wasn't a part of me at all. The numbness went very gradually and is now completely normal (dd is 14 though! - didn't take that long :)) I suspect that the pouch would be less obvious if I put a bit more effort into strengthening my abs. The only thing that bugs me about my c-section is that it pulls painfully when I sneeze (adhesions I guess)

Have a look at Mutu system. I'm only on week 3 but they have some v impressive results from their 12 week program so worth considering.

I've been wondering the same thing. My lo is coming up to 10 weeks now and I still have the numbness and a bit if an overhang. Planning on going back to yoga soon so hopefully stretching my stomach will help it. Fingers crossed but think there will always be a bit of an overhang tbh.
