Aside from the obvious eat less, exercise more and drink lots of water.

Any and all ideas welcome.

TIA.

I'm possibly not the best person to give tips this week as I'm pretty sure I've put weight on this week, but...

Use a side plate for your meals - smaller amount of food will still fill the plate and make your brain think it's getting loads to eat.

The water's definitely one - although I can't get over feeling like it's punishment when I'm drinking.

Swap sugar for saccharin if you can stand it (took me 2 weeks to do it but I'm a sugar-free girl now!).

Same with swapping to skimmed milk.

If you're doing any kind of slimming plan, remember to factor in some treat foods or long term it won't work.

Slimming World, Slimming World, Slimming World. Even if you don't join the group - follow the eating plan at home. Green and Red days. It's a great weight loss plan - NOT A DIET - and you can eat everything - even chocolate!!!

Well for me personally it's cutting down on bread, pasta, rice and the other obvious things like biscuits and chocolate.
I have just started a low carb diet and half lost about 6 lbs in 4 days.I know that it's probably all fluid in the beginning but hey it all helps.
I'm having lots of salad and lean meat at the moment.

mazzystar · 24/09/2006 22:59

Home made vegie soups and salads with little olive oil and lemon, no salt, no sugar added, reduce tea, coffee if like me you need some sweet to go with the hot drinks, find work out you can sustain, find diet/healthy eating plan you can sustain. I think it's the whole life concept, quick loosing=quick gaining in my experience. Good luck :)
