I've started the 5:2 diet today.

Im e obviously very hungry, but ok. Does anyone have any tips, or inspiration for me?

Good luck. I've lurked a lot on the main 5:2 thread, and there's lots of wisdom and experience there! I've been doing it since 1st Jan and have lost 34 lbs- so for me it really works. Once you get used to it it's also possible to continue exercising- I've also done c25k.
My top tip is to not have breakfast. If I eat in the morning it releases the hunger monster, so I last as long as possible and have a light (100 cal soup lunch) followed by a 400 cal dinner.

Don't give up in the first few weeks. It seems very hard at first but you get used to it, and I've found that even on non fast days I'm less hungry. Good luck!
