Non scale victories

I've lost my way a bit with diet and exercise. I've lost weight and my weight is the lowest it's been for a while but I'm finding it hard to get/stay motivated.

Today I tried on a pair of knee high boots. They haven't fit in 10 years and today I could zip them up while wearing skinny jeans under them!! It's helped me realise that my body IS changing and it IS worth it.

Thought this might be a nice motivating thread when the numbers on the scale aren't doing what you want!

I use scale to control over my weight. Because you can easily analyze that how much you are gaining your weight or losing it. Because now a days its really hard for me to lose my weight due to busy working hours.

Well done helga that is a nice victory indeed.
ive been looking at photos recently and see myself in a few of them at not much diff in weight but i look way way bigger than i am now. I started running last year and while i haven't lost many pounds my shape has changed alot.

I've noticed that my running cycling shorts are looseish round the bottom of the leg holes now and I have to use the waist tie, whereas they used to practically qualify as compression gear Grin. Also, they are short ones (so mid thigh) and I no longer get leg chafe.
