I am a size 20. I have size 18 clothes that fit but are/are getting tight. I am almost 18 stone by my home scales but probably more. I go by my home scales as they are easier to keep track of my weight on although I do need to invest in digital scales.

I am in the middle of a life overhaul. I am getting married next year, I have just cut a big problem in my family out of my life and with my fibromyalgia it can only help to lose weight for my health, pain and confidence.

I want to be a size 12. I feel this is reasonable. It's at a guess about a 4 or 5 stone goal and I'm hoping to lose steady weight to be able to achieve this goal by next summer.

I've just downloaded MyFitnessPal and aim to consume 1300 calories to kick start the weight loss then bring it up to 1500.

Anyone in a similar boat? Any tips or success stories?
