Currently taking about 20 mins to weight myself what with all the jumping on and off and trying to find the weight that appears the most often. Looking at salter digital scales. Any good? Don't want to spend zillions

Hi - quick bump for you and also to say I use the Weightwatchers digital scales - but also, honestly don't keep getting on and off - just go with the weight it first tells you Grin I think all scales will give you a slightly different answer if you keep getting on and off - just go for it and accept the first number whilst leaning backwards like I do

Are the scales on a totally flat surface?

caerlaverock · 08/06/2012 13:39

They are on as flat a surface as poss. They are cheapos from lidl and I suspect they have had their day.

I can't really go with first reading as it varies wildly.

Thanks for replies

What do you mean "as flat as possible" - are they on carpet? Even v expensive scales will give inaccurate readings on carpet.

No on Lino on bathroom floor so I do think the scales are past their best
