Is anyone else doing this? A new diet which is high carb one day, medium carb second day and very low carb the third day it is supposed to keep your body guessing. Started today and I have 2 stones to lose. You are supposed to lose 4lbs a week, not sure that will be the case. Anyone joining me?

As a fitness instructor I must say this diet sounds ridiculous. Better to have a high carb meal for breakfast, a medium carb meal for lunch, and no carbs at dinner.

Carbs are consumed for energy, so it is logical to have energy at the beginning of the day and to not need energy just before you go to sleep.

Hi there i bought this book and think the concept makes perfect sense, i am on day 4 and have stopped sugars totally, i am not craving at all and i had such a sweet tooth, i am excercising with it but feel like it makes sense, will see how it goes.

Yes, just started it. I needed a diet that allowed bread, veggies and fruit from the start, having fallen off the Dukan several times. I like this diet - it feels real and so far, having done five days, I've lost three pounds, which bearing in mind how hard weekends can be (wine!), seems pretty good. Good luck with it - summer apparently here this week so we all need a helping hand!
