Since watching the "sickest contestant ever" on Biggest Loser USA being told he can only exercise for 20 mins a day, (dropping dead on the treadmill clearly bad publicity), I've been wondering why no swimming or aquarobics?
The land based stuff must be extremely painful on the joints at the start. Do they ever use a pool?
(Disclaimer - I have only seen a couple of episodes.)
Also, how often does St Jillian of the Shred clamber onto victims contestants to act as a human weight ?
