How to loose this weight ??? help !!

I need to loose a stone in weight as I am really petite in height and have just been carrying too much weight since my last child.

For the last three weeks I have been trying to exercise every day - started by spending 20-30 mins. exercising to a dvd (Power of 3 Davina) and for the last two weeks have been attending Zumba class (1 hour) twice a week. If I don't go to a zumba class then I am still using the 30 mins of Davina dvd. I plan to change this today to either do a 40 min zumba on the wii or 20 min. shred dvd. Not sure yet ?

I haven't got a Slimming world or Weight watchers near me at a convenient time in the evening due to the children. What diet should I go on ? I have for the last few weeks watched what I have been eating and cut down alot of food intake. However, I don't feel that my eating pattern has changed a great deal - I still eat toast in the morning and have a cup of coffee (with sugar in !!) in the morning.

I am not a great eater of salad and veg. just don't really enjoy it. Should I just cut out on carbs. ??? but if I do this, will I lack energy to workout every day and therefore what should I eat on a day when I am attending an hour zumba class ???

Any advice appreciated - how do other people manage ?

you dont need to be near a weight watchers class you can do it on-line. As long as there is somewhere you can regularly weight yourself it is great and far less embarassing. When you sign up you need your correct height and weight and it will work out how many points you need in a day to lose weight. It will also let you record exercise which gives you extra points back. Well worth doing but you need to update every day and be honest about what you are eating. Give it a try - good luck!

Slimming world. Get the magazine and do it yourself. It is flexible but will retrain you into enjoying fruit and veg.

You never feel deprived and the red plan works fast. Red is measured carbs but free levels of lean protein, fruit and veg with about 200 cals free choice where you can still eat a bit of treat stuff. You cook with fry light.

Example of measured carbs - you pick two.

2 slices of wholemeal bread from 400g loaf
227g baking potato
100g wholewheat pasta

You have to measure your milk cheese too again picking two.

350ml skimmed milk
250ml semi skimmed

28g cheese
42g of feta, mozzarella or reduced fat cheddar.

This gives you a basic outline but google for more info. You may find green or their new plan suits you better. Eggs are free food too.

HTH.
