Hi
Can anyone suggest a good dvd for fitness?
I am thinking about getting one from Davina, but which one is the best?
Any suggestion?

Depends on your level of fitness, what kinds of things you're into, and how much time you have to do it in!

The most effective one I have ever done is Nell McAndrew's Ultimate Challenge. It's a lot of jogging on the spot with arm movements, interspersed with millions of squats. In other words, interval training. Excellent for burning calories, and tones you up in next no time. The main cardio workout takes 50 minutes, then there are additional toning exercises (which are pretty tough). I'd say you need a pretty good level of fitness to do it. It's tough, but the time seems to go really quickly.

Rosemary Conley's old DVDs are good at easing you into fitness, but very cleverly designed so they increase your fitness very quickly. The toning exercises get you toned very quickly. The cardio is only 30 mins (including warm up and cool down, and the toning section is 20 mins.

I'd recommend Rosemary for a newbie and then progress to Nell when you're ready to ramp your level of fitness up!

If you want a Davina one I think her Superbody is the best to start with. It has 2 stand alone workouts -
Warm up, aerobic, cool down (45 mins)
Warm up, toning with weights, abs, and cool down (45 mins)

You can make them longer by adding in one of the extras, there are 4 to choose from I think but you may want to wait a bit for that.

There is always a beginners version along with the more advanced moves that Davina does so it's suitable for most levels of fitness.

I've got 4 of her's and mix them up through the week so never get bored. Her first one is excellent too (Power of 3) but it's one long workout broken into sections which you may find a bit much and get bored of if it's to be your only one.

The most important thing is that you should enjoy it Smile
