Anyone using Slimpods?

Probably a long shot, but just wondered if anyone was using a Slimpod? Its a 9 minute MP3 that you listen to daily that uses wordweaving (not hypnotism like Paul McKenna).

I used to be a die-hard Paul fan, but after a year Id only lost a stone and was very fed up his voice (sorry Paul!). After a few months of eating freefall, I started using this method instead. Hoping to find some other Slimpodders out there!

You get weekly (I think) emails and videos, to help in the first few weeks. You’re also encouraged to join a private Facebook group with others following the programme. It can be helpful. You will always have access to the recordings and videos, so if you fall off the wagon you can start again at any time without having to ever pay a penny more.

You give your bank details and after the 10 day trial you can easily cancel without paying, plus don’t spread this but you can record the ‘pod’ before you cancel 😂
I started listening again a couple of weeks ago and although I don’t think I’ve lost weight I have made better choices sometimes. It’s not a quick fix. But it doesn’t concentrate on food all the time like Noom.

I thought about recording the pod and cancelling but then you would miss the daily mails and I did find them motivating for keeping on track.
My 3rd payment just went though & they were quick to confirm nothing further due or needs to be done on my side so can't fault their admin team.

Hey, just wondering how you're finding it now, the last messages on this thread are from April. How have your losses been/have you been able to maintain? I'm keen to give it a go!

Babana123 · 04/07/2023 19:28

I had lost 4 stone by April and have now lost about 5 stone. I have a healthy BMI of 21, have good eating habits, still have takeaways once or twice a week. I no longer fear clothes shopping. I listen to the slimpod most nights as I fall asleep.

Overall I'm so happy with the results.

How is everyone else getting on?

My friend and dieting companion has just told me about Slimpod and having read your reviews I had no idea how long this has been going. I tried Paul but being dyslexic I found it hard to concentrate so I was interested in the length of the Slimpod hypnotherapy bit. My friend is 10 days ahead and has bought the first 4 weeks. When watching the introduction video she lost me quite quickly but due to my friend’s enthusiasm will stick with it. They say repeat, repeat repeat. How many times do you all listen to the pod a day?

Erinsmumm · 31/08/2023 17:31

Once usually and early morning. Occasionally might listen again during the day, listen while I’m doing other things. He’s talking to my unconscious I don’t have to pay attention.

I'm 10 days in, so no weight loss. But my attitude to food has improved and I feel optimistic about it.,
