does the paul mckenna thing REALLY work?

I bought the how to make thin books a couple of years ago but never actually did anything with them Anyway, I am now at my heaviest and feel like it's time to do summat about it. I've dug out the books and am ready to give it a go. Any successes out there? And what advice do you have for a mckenna newbie?

Well fraggle i've lost 3 stone in the last year with P.M. and it's the only 'way of eating' that you can pick up and put down with no probs whatsoever. It's not a diet as such but I have lost the weight following a healthy blood type based diet. Our thread is suddenly very busy but you're very welcome to join us we're really nice BTW
