... How much weight can I lose in 3 weeks?

Can I fit into my black super skinny jeans by the 4th feb (which are a size smaller than I am now)? (big night out!)

Going to go to the gym tonight.....

Excercise daily and cut out the carbs and you would be able to I reckon

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 09/01/2012 16:09

7 lbs or thereabouts! No carbs, low cal, water water water. Steer clear of salt (water retention) and fizzy pop. No lattes/hot choc either.

Starfishkiss · 09/01/2012 16:29

Thanks! I'm going to do all those things, it's only 3 weeks hey! Confused I'm determined to see what I can achieve if I set my mind to it!!

you have exactly 1 day longer than me to drop a drss size to fit into an item of clothing :o

I have a party to go to where people I have not seen for a year will be,am not going 1/2 overweight,so have cut out a lot of carbs, evening vino and am shredding everyday, well am on day 2 but intend to continue

let me know if you do it

Starfishkiss · 10/01/2012 19:02

Ooh good luck Quiet!

My night out is with old uni friends I haven't seen for about 9 months (back when I had a great excuse for being a bit rounder due to new born DS, now I have no excuse!) so similar!

Have you done this before? Although ive gone on the occasional 'diet' during my time, I've never actually properly lost weight before, so feel a bit doubtful about it working Hmm which I don't know whether this will work against me mentally?

Well, I've gone a day without carbs and am determined to keep it up!

(any other words of advice/motivation gratefully received!)

Depends how determined you are.

2 eggs for breakfast or greek yoghurt plus few nuts.
Fish or cottage cheese and salad for lunch
Meat and low carb veggies for dinner.

No fruit, and only diary to be greek yoghurt or cottage cheese (one per day).

No fizzy, no lattes. Shred dvd every day. Should be able to loose 10lbs.

Starfishkiss · 10/01/2012 22:59

I'm so annoyed; my shred DVD still hasn't arrived and after checking amazon it seems it won't arrive until the 20th!! Now that's not good now is it! Angry

On the positive side, I've signed up with the gym to burn 4000 cals in under 4 weeks, (sounds easy but I'm an absolute beginner at running so am having to start with interval training.) and I'm gonna do it!

Foreverondiet, I hate Greek yog, cottage cheese and boiled eggs. Sad
Going to have small omelette for breakfast, and small bowl of soup with some boiled chicken for lunch, and some kind of meat and veg for tea. Plus lots and lots of water. Do you think that sounds ok?

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 11/01/2012 11:13

sounds good, no bread with soup and no potatoes with dinner! Grin

foreverondiet · 11/01/2012 18:55

Yes sounds great, no need to eat dairy though, I like cottage cheese and greek yoghurt! Annoying about shred though!

Go for 2 egg omelette (not small one) more chance of sticking to it if you aren't starving! Again make low fat soup not too heavy on carby veg and eat loads, need to be full. Basically think lean protein (chicken/turkey breast or fish) and non starchy veg at each meal.

If you are hungry between meals and drinking loads of water & herbal tea not helping then go for small portion (25g) of nuts.

This is the "lean and clean" diet : [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clean-Lean-Diet-Best-ever-Macpherson/dp/1856269329/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1326307923&sr=1-1 link] but I don't think you need to buy the book.
