Erratic Weight Changes (wtf??)

5 weeks ago I weighed 10st 2lbs which I was happy with (although ideally wanted to get down to 10st.)

Then all of a sudden I got on the scaled 4 weeks ago to see I'd gone up to 10st 6lbs! in one week!! Couldn't think of any obvious diet changes so couldn't diet - therefore continued eating what I was eating and one week later I was 10st 8lbs.

I started panicking a bit but as I said, I couldn't actually diet because I already eat less than I probably should. I just couldn't understand it. One week later I got back on the scales to see I'd dropped to 10st 4lbs Hmm again with no changes to the diet.

Just got on the scales this morning however and I'm back up to 10st 7lbs Sad

WTF is going on???

Time of the month? Are you exercising an building muscle? Perhaps your body is insulating itself for the winter!

Can be TOTM, also eating more carbs results in more water retention. Also if you are lifting weights can be due to muscle repair (but water retention, building several pounds of muscle takes serious effort).

What do you eat in an average day? My weight fluctuates by 4-5lbs in a week and thats without TOTM.
