Anyone tried the 'Insanity' workout programme from Beachbody?

Good afternoon everyone, am really struggling to lose the last 10lbs of baby weight (dc2 is now 9 months) but haven't had much luck with counting calories whilst doing home exercise dvds like ttds etc. I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm not exercising enough and was considering getting the insanity collection of exercise dvds. Has anyone tried this? I know it takes commitment and I'm up for it but I just need to know if it will help me lose weight!

Not tried insanity although it looks fab - I have Chalean Extreme which is really good. Ive gone back to work now so dont have time to do it.

I got mine from here and they were really cheap and quick delivery. I think they do insanity as well

thanks cantfindamnnickname, I have heard that Chalean Extreme is good. I'm also going back to work soon so wonder if it would just join the rest of my exercise dvds sitting on the shelf gathering dust!

Thanks for the link though :)

thats the problem i think with Chalean - its really good but its 30 - 40 minutes at least 5 times a week - i struggle to find that when i work and have 3 children.

I manage 1 hour twice a week at a scheduled class though

well done you for going to classes. I used to love my body pump and step classes but simply can't go now as dh often works late.

I am determind to lose this baby weight though! When you were doing the chalean, did you find that you lost weight/changed shape? And did you follow a specific eating plan? Sorry for all the questions! :)

I definately got stronger but I am really crap at eating properly and that is the key when doing these programs.

I had lots more muscle definition but it would have been more successful if i hadnt eaten all those cakes and chocolates at Christmas
