please explain New Weight Watchers system!

Can anyone please explain this to me as i have just joined up this week to ww and am struggling , as used to old system, thanks.

It's really similar - in that you get points and eat food based on those points. The differences seem to be:

You can't carry points over from day to day. Instead you get a weekly allowance of extra points which you can use on any day to top up your day's points.

The points are calculated differently - they don't use saturated fat content anymore and use fibre as part of the calculation. They are also based on a smaller number of calories so you get more points in each day but they are each worth less food.

You don't get 1/2 points any more.

You can eat all the fruit and veg you want (it used to just be veg).

I can't think of any other differences.
