Issues with waiting for meals

The reason I'm overweight is because I can't wait for meals. I tend to grab bits of food and eat bread, biscuits whatever while I wait foer my dinner to be cooked. Its so bad that by the time the meal is ready, I'm not even hungry but I eat anyway. I think I eat compulsively and don't know why I do it.
What can I do to combat this and lose this 2 stone?
Does anyone else do this?

Drink whilst cooking? Only eat salad veggies whilst cooking - have tomato, cucumber, pepper all lined up and ready to nibble on!

So grab some food - grab a carrot, an apple, banana, handful of grapes - just not the biscuits. I can't just do breakfast, lunch and dinner either (i can't go more than around 2-3 hours without eating something) and graze a lot - but on fruit and veg rather than bread etc
