I've searched and couldn't find a thread specifically about this book so here's a new one. Just wanted to HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone struggling with yo-yo dieting or problems with food generally. I did Lighter Life but am now working to change my behaviour to prevent regaining the weight - and this book, with its Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) foundation really complements the counselling work I did with LL. I cannot recommend it highly enough and only wish I'd found it years ago.

(No, I'm not on commission - just really wanted to share this as I think it's really useful and practical! Grin)

I am just using the workboom and would agree - it is so good - having failed to understand why my diets never work, this has really opened my eyes to how much I need to change both my thinking and lifestyle if I am to lose weight.. totally recomend it

I know this thread is ancient but I'm bumping it because I'd love to know if anyone else has had success with this? I've just started reading it (been doing WW for about 4 months and want to make this permanent weight loss) and think it's interesting so far but am a bit sceptical about the self help style approach.
