Weight loss stalled

Bit frustrated and looking for advice - Have lost v v nearly 6 stone in the past 11 months since the birth of dd2 (to be precise 5 st 13.5). But it's really slowed right down. I've been doing it on my own - basically just eating less and exercising more. Initially all I could do was walk, now via couch to 5k I'm running 45 minutes 3 times a week - pretty slowly but improving all the time. I have about 3-3.5 stone still to lose to reach a healthy BMI.

Exercise wise I'm just planning to keep building it up. I try to go to a body pump class once a week (and generally do) and would like to do body balance but until dd2 starts sleeping without needing immediate boob access it's not happening. I have vague intentions to shred but that's not happening either - too tired/lazy with 3 dcs and working 6 days a week.

Food wise there's little I can do to reduce further - I'm not cheating - honest, weighing out my cereal and off all bread/bakery products. My main meal has to be in the evening due to work. I'm going to tweak things a little from today but I'm wondering if there are other options.

I definitely want to keep running as it feels great so I wonder if I could actually do a proper low carb eg idiot proof without carbs to fuel it. What about dukan?

Appreciate anyone who can advise

Wow 6 stone in 11 months is impressive!. Have you tried wii fit for balance? It would fit round your need to be in BF distance of your dc.

I only had 3 stone to loose but it slowed down after 2, but managed to get back on track with low carb. Basically did dukan, but after attack week didn't do more than 1 protein day per week (ie did protein and veggies every day). Also had main meal in evening due to work.

I have triathlon in 6 weeks time and no problem doing this & required training on low carb diet, but everyone is different.

Also I think your body can hold onto reserves when you are breastfeeding...

Typical day for me:
2 egg omelette
100g greek yoghurt with oatbran and 25g blueberries

lunch
tuna salad or smoked salmon salad or cottage cheese salad

dinner
chicken breast (150g), loads of steamed veggies.

Snacks - fat free yoghurt mid morning and mid afternoon. Maybe apple 2 or 3 times a week.
