IPD/Low carb weightloss help

My fourth week of doing this starts today. I have (as far as I am aware) adhered to it strictly. I am still doing phase one.

The first week I lost 9lb, the second 3lb and after stepping on the scales today, only 1lb last week. Any ideas as to how to do it with more results?

I really recommend the Idiot proof diet book, phase one is the first part of that regime.

What are you doing at the moment?

Weight gain slows down to 1 or 2 lbs per week. Not really possible to loose more than that longer term unless you are very overweight. Also normal not to loose as your approach TOTM.

1lb of body fat is roughly 3500 calories so if you have a 500 calorie deficit each day you loose 1lb a week. You always loose more at the start of a low carb regime as cutting out carbs tends to result in a one off fluid loss.
