Hi all. I am today starting the SW plan extra easy. I would like to loose 1 stone initially then we will see.

I have been since January eating sensibly, using the food focus website and going to the gym/zumba/shredding minimum of 4 times per week and i have managed to loose 9lb in this period (my heaviest weight was in December)

Here are my stats, i will update them every Monday.
Height-5ft 6inches (well 5ft 5.5inches!)
Weight-11st 11lb (on Saturday)
Bust 36
Waist 30
Hips 37
thighs 24

Please help me along the way to actually do it and stick with it. I am not going to class but have a friend who does and i have also been too a few before myself. I weighed 10.7 last May and would love to get back there again (gained weight steadily July-Dec but actually found out i had been pregnant in Dec...when i started to miscarry-the pregnancy was quite far along. So some of it was pregancy not just overeating)

Anyone who wishes to join please do or any tips would be fab aswell!

I will join you. Have been 'doing' slimming world for a while. but have not properly followed it.I am good for a few days and then have crap food days. So maybe some support would be nice Smile

I would like to get rid of 1.5 stone of possible. Don't have to as I am not overweight but I am not happy with my weight at all and felt prettier and healthier with less weight.

Today is my third day of shredding by the way.

Hi Gilmore-glad someone is joining me! felt all alone then!

I got up to day 23 on shred before joining the gym. I have lost 17" in total but only lost 4lb in weight on the shred.

Today has been alright as far as sw goes so hoping it continues! I too would ideally love 1.5stone. Lets see what we can do...x

Wow, your inch loss sounds great. Well done you. I only managed to measure myself today. Will give you the measurements later.

I usually measure in kilos but just converted it and I think I am 10.9 stone.

Today was my weigh in (lost 900 gram since joining SW, like I said, not following it properly). So it's a good time for a new start with some extra support Smile

God! You two have bugger all to lose Wink I went to SW today to get started on EE myself - i have (deep breath) 5.5 stones to lose so a bit more than you guys but can i join you as i need some diet buddys.

I wont say my weight but i have lost the best part of a stone and a half over the last 8 months so its better than it was but today is the first day and im doing ok so far.

Ive tried WW ect but i just cant seem to stick to it - im really hoping that with some support i can this time - today is a good day so far :)

Not doing the gym thing for at least 2 or 3 stone as my joints arent that great but i am hoping that the more weight i lose the more motivated i will be to start exercising too.

I know it's not much to lose but it feels like a lot to me somehow. I am well impressed with you already having lost 1.5 stone already. That's great!

I tried Weight Watchers but was always very hungry and still didn't lose weight. So it's slimming world now.

I just actually have to make myself stick to it!

Yeah me too - i did really well until 8pm - i only had 9 syns and really reigned it in today ... then i clapped eyes on a strawberry toffee bon bon packet (only had one sweet though!) and a caramac ice cream (was delish) so i reckon thats about another 7 syns which isnt the end of the world - if i was on 15 ive only gone over by one.

I did the slimming world spag bol tonight and i couldnt eat it all, a few drops of tabasco made it very nice indeed :) What did you lovely ladies have for dinner (i need some inspiration!)

I was out all day so didn't have dinner...Now I am getting hungry. Not sure what I'll have now. I did have pasta with home made tomato sauce for lunch though.

Why didn't you like the bolognese all that much at first? I don't really follow their recipe for it, just improvise with mince and veggies.

I really like their chicken cacciatore, three bean chilli, potato and spinach bake just to name a few. I often just alter their stuff though to my taste.

I love risottos. Ham and leek for example. Or this week I had leftover chicken from a roast so used some chicken in it.

Welcome Rosie! Glad you've joined us on here. Well done on your weight loss-you can do the rest with us here with you. After giving birth to my first baby I weighed 14.10 (was 16.2 with him inside) and I got back to 11 within 2 years, then to concieve my 2nd! And I lost all my weight in about 21mths.

Had a good day today-had a sweet potato jacket tonight with cottage cheese and a big salad-was 'licious (as my 2yr old would say!) I love, love, love risotto-one of my fav meals with shredded roast chicken...

I have double zumba-d tonight so now about to catch up on one born every minute.

Catch up tommoro! X

Day 2 sucessful so far, realised my portion control for my cereal was silly and have changed my usual crackers/cheese or more cereal for a soup.
I am having 'treats' within my syn value so fingers crossed...

Well day 4 down and 'ok' so far although finding it not very different to my usual diet so quite honestly not expecting miracles! I have done two zumba sessions and a body pump session since Monday.

Will weigh in on saturday.

How did your weigh in go? I had a crazy week and basically lived of crappy food, including biscuits. My weigh in is tomorrow but it's my birthday and I am not sure I want to start the day with realising I put in weight :(

Hi-sorry for lack of updates, been using internet form my iphone and its such an effort to find a post!

I ended up 2 weeks ago joining a s/w group. I weighed in at 12st-1lb (at night time i may add!) Two weeks in i am 5.5lb down so 11.9 and half at night time i may add again!

I found out my cereal portion sizes were silly so gave up cereal altogether!

Hopefully on a roll now!
