Weighing scales - recommendations?

Hi all,

I've never had a weighing scales so bought the Weight Watchers digital weighing scales through Amazon a couple of months ago but am finding it's pretty useless. It keeps giving me bizarre results that make no sense. It's not just my vanity(!) - it's also weighed me as lighter than I know I am too (from a hospital check-up). As in about 5 lbs lighter too so it's not just a half pound here and there. The results it gives me just make no sense generally, which is making it pretty hard to monitor my weight loss. It was only about 20 quid to order so maybe I need to spend more money??

What weighing scales can you all recommend as the most accurate that doesn't break the bank? Are non-digital scales better?

Thanks for any advice anyone has!

I've just bought these and they are working well so far. They don't work on carpet but are fine on my bathroom floor.
