Has anyone ever done the Master Cleanse (aka Lemonade Diet)???

Is it as awful as it looks?

Does it work??

Not personally but have a friend who swears by master cleanse.

My Mum tried it and gave up very quickly as tasted vile and completely incompatible with any kind of life, especially family life. If you're just trying to lose weight there are much better ways and if you want to detox you could just eat fruit and veg for a week or smoothies.
