I'm sick fed up of eating the same old boring diet-type crap and then getting bored with it after a fortnight.
So, I'm throwing down the gauntlet to all you fab MNers, dazzle me with your favourite low fat/healthy meal, snack or whatever. Keep me going, please Smile

I often look on the BBC Good Food website for inspiration. They're recipes are really good

make a green salad soup with half an avocado, lettuce ,herbs etc. spring onions, garlic (what you like really!) juice of lemon, olive oil, stock or water & or yoghurt, liquidise and enjoy with crispy ryvitas

You can do similar as above but with the fruit you like and milk or yoghurt and fruit sugar (I add ground almonds for thickness cos I don't do dairy) It's best eaten on an empty stomach. Enjoy

Sainsburys do a pack of 5 little individually-wrapped portions of 85% dark chocolate which only have 5g carbs each in them, roughly 100 calories each. They have become my after-dinner treat.

Eat a proper breakfast - 1 slice wholemeal bread with flora light and 2 scrambled eggs keeps you full all morning and feels luxurious to eat.

Reduced sugar tomato ketchup is also a revelation, as you can bung that on ANYTHING and it will taste like junk!! Satisfies my cravings for rubbish, anyway.

I don't get too wound up about what I put on my salads, etc, to make them tasty. Low-fat salad cream isn't really THAT good for you, but if it means I can churn through a big bowl of salad leaves and still enjoy it, then fuck it. Same goes for adding chutney/chilli sauce/other condiments. At the end of the day - it's only another 30-50 calories. Whatever it takes to keep you eating boring old veg and salad.

Souvlaki - Greek kebabs. Marinate diced chicken/lamb in lemon juice, garlic, oregano and a bit of olive oil. Thread on sewers with veg (I do peppers, onion and mushroom). Grill 10 mins each side, serve with rice or pittas.
