I've been trying to lose weight now since my LO was born last December. I've succesfully lost after having DS1 and DD but this time I haven't shed a single lb.

I'm on the usual 1500 calorie blah blah which has worked before twice no problems. I do remember struggling after DS1 was born in 05 and it took 6 months of gym (5 days a week for an hour!) and diet before I shifted a single lb then it all started happening. It wasn't quite so bad after DD was born in 08 but now it's proving to be an absolute bloody nightmare. I really don't want to do anything drastic but I'm starting to feel I should try cutting my calories pretty drastically to see if it does anything. I'd absolutely love to join the gym again but annoyingly there are now none near by with creches. I do exercise here and there when I can though and I am fairly active.

I really am trying to be healthy, I even tried slimfast (followed it to the book) for a month to see if it would kisckstart anything, but I put on about 2 lbs.

I've tried everything but there seems to be something wrong with me? I've been to the doctor but she said that she gives it a year before they look into anything. Help!

I need to lose 3 stone. This is pretty much what I lose then gain with each pregnancy. Yoyoyoyoyoyoyo.

I just did Closerdiet.com and it was really good for me. Seemed to be quite a lot of food but it was all really healthy and filling, about 1400 calories a day. I managed to lose a pound or even two a week, some weeks better than others. Are you following a diet now or doing your own one? I found that I needed to be told exactly what to buy and eat otherwise I didn't have a clue.

It is early days for you after your DD but if you are ready then it is right for you. Are you breastfeeding? I put on a shed load of weight when I did!
