Anyone else get diarrhoea following SW?

Started SW (for the third time! although I did get to target twice before) 4 weeks ago, and have been suffering quite badly with diarrhoea on and off ever since. I think it's eating so much fruit that's causing it. Have been fairly much just having Alpen Light bars for my HE B choices, and lots of fruit, some veg and meat/prawns the rest of the time.

Are there any types of fruit that are better for avoiding this problem? Currently eating lots of strawberries, melon, berries, apples and pears. Think apples and pears effect me less though.

Just me then?

No, I get it as well. I do have IBS though. Maybe cut down on fruit as snacks and have more veg snacks instead. Unfortunately as my doctor told me, healthy eating can make IBS worse, certainly in the short term.

Bananas can help bung you up - free but not a speed or super-speed food though.

Not personally, no, but eggs are binding as are bananas and eggs are free.

Thanks for the replies!

Have had a few days of following the plan a bit more loosely (after a 24-hr bug) and avoiding/limiting fruit. All has been fine. Will be reintroducing fruit today, but have had a banana and a couple of eggs today, and will see if that helps! Fingers crossed.

shinybootsofleather - I haven't got IBS, but I've certainly got a very delicate digestive system. Unfortunately whilst following SW, I seem to get diarrhoea if I eat anything fatty or too much fruit! Can't win really! It must be a nightmare for you.

It's not too bad at the moment. My IBS has improved since having DS. I just kind of get used to feeling bloated and a bit sick all the time.
