Oushk has a new fb group

It's called Oushkers. 5 customers have been given Moderator rights.

I've left the group. I really don't like the idea of customers being moderators.

Is it actually Oushk’s group or have some customers just set it up themselves?

Never noticed that 😂, bad move from Oushk just checked and surprised at some of the names they have chosen, it is going to be bedlam giving the hall monitors powers 🙈 😂

Thanks, it's bad we have to learn about the changes from elsewhere rather than an email from the company.

Yeah I’ve been happy with Oushk generally but my one criticism is that they don’t communicate well. My husband doesn’t use any social media so I’ve always been relaying him updates and discount codes but I’m off MJ now so not really paying as much attention. He didn’t have any idea about the weight verification calls, I don’t know if anything got emailed out at any point but he’s just been ordering as normal. Presumably all the slots are gone for months now to those who are in the FB group.

Indeed and one of the moderators also suggested posts be set on mod approval.

The sad thing is the fans were balanced, there could be good discussions to help Oushk grow.

Good example is the O branded delivery bags. The fans shot down anyone who said they didn't like the bags. And now Oushk sends parcels in plain label packaging. Fans aren't helping Oushk as much as they think they are.

The reason I posted was so people could know there was a new support group. I know lots of people like the group.

I also wanted people to know who were the moderators because they may mistakenly think they are employees.

It’s just one of these parasocial relationship things isn’t? Comments about the pharmacist’s lipstock, clothes, blah blah. It’s always a bit of a weird vibe, although the maintenance group had a lot less of that but was a lot smaller. It would be nice if the updates and codes were on a website page or something so you don’t have to scroll the FB groups to find stuff.

The plans are to start their own forum on their own website for customers only.

They have been talking about using apps like Discord and Circle the current facebook page is temporary. Hopefully will be better once it is off faceache and onto a forum that is moderated by Oushk staff again and less likely to get closed down.

Oh Jesus. One of the mods is someone who is a right know it all dickhead. I cant stand her. I won't be joining until it's sorted out properly.

LH is the one who does my head in, it's probably from a place of kindness but is very sanctimonius and puts people down who use shakes and bars instead of home cooked meals. I do like the stories tho so I might request to join and see how it goes.

I’ve joined the new group, I find all the fan love very funny at times, I do think Hira is an impressive business woman who must be making so much 🤑 but the hero worship from grown women is just weird.
The new mods are people who are so bloody vocal on everything, they think they are head girls (and one head boy).
Let’s see how long it lasts, I fear the FB maintenance group will get closed down very soon as now full of people asking for codes and things, which is a shame as that group wasn’t full of the fan club and was very helpful as maintenance is a bit confusing at times.
