Doh - I just posted this in the Parties section but now I realise THIS is the place to be!

Does anyone know how you find a reliable wedding DJ? are there any review websites? I am looking for a company rather than a "One man band" as you would have back up if the DJ was sick or something.

Any reccomendations in South East London or Kent areas would be welcome!

I recently used a DJ for our party and can recommend him highly. He was very communicative through the planning stage and I had certain requirements including several changes of music style through the evening which he worked with easily. He researched music on my behalf and put compliations together for me.

I am in Surrey and he covers the South East. I met him through a wedding fair last October at a Holiday Inn hotel in Chessington, although my event was a birthday party.

Do you want me to dig out his details?

ohh that sounds interesting- Chessington may be a bit of a trek but if he is willing then I dont see why not. Does he work on his own or with other DJ's.

Thank you

He is independent but very professional. I don't think he lives in Chessington, that is just where the show was but I know he covers the whole South East.

This is his details:

Tell him you were recommended by the lady who recently held a surprise 40th for her husband at the Holiday Inn - you never know, it may get you a tiny discount!
