Had a quick go at making an invite.. what do yuo think?

I brought a couple of packs of cards and envelopes from the works today. i thought they were just plain pieces of card and i was going to do a gatefold but they already had a crease down the middle so ive gone for a different design to what i wanted. I'm very impatient and i had to have a little go tonight. It was a really quick go as OH was going out and i wanted to show him and i only has the kids glue and im going to use thinner ribbon.

What do you think?

One thing (and sorry for being picky) but the phrase is "Wedding Invitation" not "Wedding Invite" so you will need to alter that.

Is the ribbon very shiny, or is it just the flash? Yes to thinner ribbon, I agree.

But I like the ribbon size as is, especially if you're going to use that size organza bow.

"Invite" isn't less formal - it is just incorrect! Sorry to be a pedant but tis true.

Ofcourse it will say invitation on the real one, dd2 wanted my pen so i just scribbled invite on it.No its not very shiny i think that was the camera.

callmeovercautious we have about 130 to do and yes they will all be hand made im sure it wont take more than a weekend. It's really important to us that we make them ourselves. We have another month before we have to send them so plenty of time.
