How about buying her some perfume?

This happened to me, Chanel No5, and I had never had it before.

Its risky as perfume can be foul on some people but I have never met anybody who didnt smell fabulous wearing it (about to be corrected, I know).

Then whenever she smells it afterwards it will remind her, and her DH of their fabulous day.

no and I was grateful
surprises were the last thing I needed

would have hated perfume too - DH has a v sensitive nose

no - my DS even decided that she couldn't come to my version of a hen night as it clashed with a friend's birthday! (can't say we were best friends then, we get on a lot better now!)

Unless you're just planning on giving her a gift, I'd arrange whatever you come up with for the day before. The morning of a wedding is normally really busy and your kind gesture could get lost or end up causing problems.

well this is a cheerful conversation

was just thinking about something nice and thoughful... no big surprise! a thoughtful gift..???!

not in the morning, but my sis had popped back to my house between the day and evening do and "decorated" our bedroom. Champagne with glasses, roses, rose petals etc. Was a shame Dh was a tiny bit drunk!
