What is the best way to go about selling my Wedding Dress?

I've never done this before so any advice would be great.

It was altered in a way that meant it could be undone so do I need to get the alterations undone first then where is the best place to advertise it, ebay, pre-loved or somewhere else?

is there a place on here for selling stuff. Was it very expensive because i am not sure if they sell for good prices second hand. maybe wrong though.

there is a website.. sellmydress.com i think? Something like that. 2nd hand dresses don't fetch very much though.
