Is this ok to wear as wedding guest or is the base too close to white?

I think it’s fine. Nice dress.

MyArtfulGreySloth · 15/08/2026 22:49

I’m usually of the stance of if you have to ask then it’s probably not appropriate, but this is fine imo.

I don't think even the most stickly of sticklers would call you out on that @OP. Also I think it's pretty.

happydays312 · 15/08/2026 22:52

No problem for me!

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 15/08/2026 22:54

In person it probably will look fine, but it may look white in photos, I don't think I'd want to risk it upsetting anyone.

I think it’s fine. Any accessories, cardi etc?

Flowerpots276 · 15/08/2026 22:58

Thanks All, probably going to go with a pink cardi and I have nude sandals with a low heel and nude matching handbag.
Not sure cardi will be worn depending on weather though. I was hoping it would be ok because the pattern is quite colourful, but yes, I don’t want to even risk upsetting the bride.

It’s fine but it’s quite casual so depends if it fits the theme of the wedding. County pub style venue fine. Black tie 5* hotel no.

Yes, it’s a more relaxed wedding and was hoping to wear again to festival wedding next year
