Micro wedding ideas?

My DP and I are trying to plan our wedding and I’d love some ideas. What worked well for your wedding? Any ideas for us?

I wanted to elope, but my (same sex) partner is desperate to have both her parents in attendance, so we’ve compromised on a micro wedding (about 30 guests in total.)

We definitely won’t be doing wedding speeches for various reasons. No bridesmaids either. We want to keep it quite low key.

We had a regular wedding but one of my favourite memories and small facts is that all of the table flowers came from the M&S at the service station 😂 Something went wrong with the florist so as we were driving up to our hotel we stopped at the service station, bought a load of cheap bouquets and spent the night cutting up flowers and arranging them in cheap bud vases someone lent us.

We had a good laugh and nobody even noticed anything was wrong with the bloody flowers. So make sure you do something fun and crafty together for the day.
