Is it nice ? Does it look old fashioned? Would it suit someone with slim legs ?

Others may be able to help differently but for me, I’d really need to see it on you. Sorry, can you try visiting somewhere to try on a load of different shapes and see what look you prefer?

I’m curvy with thin legs and although I love a shift dress I think it’s a better choice for women that don’t have curves. Or with smaller curves. Otherwise it’s very difficult to get the proportions right and you end up with a tight top part and baggy middle.

Do you mean you are actually curvy, as in hourglass? Or are you using it as a euphemism for overweight?
I think shift dresses are not particularly flattering for curvy women as they can be tight over the hips and baggy at the waist (the best bit if you're curvy)!
But if you mean overweight, then it could look great depending on where the weight is etc. You'd need to try it on I think.
