where do i start ,on a budget ,little help,blackpool

Hi my name is jo my other half and i been together about 15 years. But we are not married yet although living as ,it looks like we should be able to get married 2027.I know even on a budget it will be a few grand .

I have no mother ,no father ,no grandparents and my sister is on her way to being estranged .Although i have my other half i know a lot of planning will fall on me .I can rely on him to book things to help me choose things but as i work part time and him full time. I have more time for this ,but were to start

I know its going to be a registry office then probably a social club .Not a grand celebration but more so about having enough space to spend time with friends and family. What do i need to plan ,where do i start

Pick a date, check with the registry office for availability and prices if they have different sized rooms. Phone a couple of places, get prices for room rental, do they include food, sit down meal or buffet, so they supply a dj or can you arrange your own. Then make a list of everyone you would like to invite and then cost up how much. The registry office will need payment in full when you book. The club or pub may just want a deposit. If you need outside catering and a dj they will both require deposits when you book.
