Eloping on a budget

Me and my partner want to get married just the two of us but still want it to be romantic. Ideally we want to pay between £600 up to £1200 … we live in the north east the tree top venues looks absolutely stunning but from what I’ve seen are out of our price range we want to be able to stay at least 2 nights wherever we decide on. Does anybody have any advice or recommendations about having this type of wedding?

We eloped to New York and got married at city hall and it’s the most Romantic thing I have ever done.

I would strongly suggest you get married at a registry office and then go on a regular holiday (not labelled ‘honeymoon’) at whatever sort of venue appeals to you.

That way you won’t be paying an unnecessary wedding premium.
