Planning websites/apps for Ireland & UK

Newly engaged here and want to tentatively dip my toe in the planning process, starting with an engagement party but also looking ahead at potential venues and suppliers. The problem is that we don’t yet know for sure if we will be getting married in the UK or Ireland - engagement party and wedding dress supplier will need to be in the UK but everything else is TBC at this stage. And honestly what could swing it is what’s available so I’d really like to be able to consider both.

Ideally I’d like a website or app for planning and inspiration that serves both countries; the ones I’ve looked at so far seem to be for one or the other. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Since there were no replies to this, I decided to buy some wedding magazines instead. How fun, I thought, to actually be able to buy them and flick through and start planning. I was really looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, despite going to several shops with a large magazine selection, I haven’t been able to find a single one. Model railways, yachting, wallpaper, the royal family - they seem to have everything else available but weddings.

So I tried to find some online that I could order a monthly subscription to, but most of them are online only now, and the ones that do physical copies aren’t even monthly.

I know it’s silly but I’m SO disappointed! I’m sick of Pinterest and I really don’t want my entire planning experience to be spent staring at a screen. I really enjoy proper magazines and just my luck all the bridal ones have vanished by the time I got engaged.

What to do?? 😭
