So me and partner have been together 14 years and have a little one on the way. We have decided that a quickie registry office wedding is what we want to do so we are thinking of organising it for later next year. We both hate attention so we are planning on just having our two friends as witness and obviously baby will be there too! I love my holidays so I thought to make the day abit more special we would go on holiday after. We will probably book Cornwall but maybe travel to exeter the day we wed, spend a night there and then rest of the journey to cornwall the next day. I just wondered if anyone else has had a quickie wedding like this and what you did to make the day special still? I feel abit weird maybe not going for drinks with friends after but I thought I could get them a little trinket gift for being witnesses which would be nice and then have holiday to look forward to after. Also, what to wear?! I won't be spending much for such a short wedding but its whether I go for a white dress or just whatever colour and I can wear the dress again if I want to. What did you do?
