Finding a make up artist

I'm looking for a make up artist for a small wedding for next year - everyone I've contacted so far is either booked already or has a minimum of more people than we have (eg 6, and there only will be 2-3 of us wanting hair and makeup on the day). Any suggestions on how to find someone who will be happy to work on a small wedding?

Have you used hitched? You can message lots at once with the same message explaining the above which should help.

There are also wedding groups on Facebook for most counties (e.g Kent weddings) which can be helpful to get local suggestions / recommendations.

I wouldn’t expect 2-3 people to be a problem

Have you tried asking your usual hair dresser or are you getting married away from home?

No way would I use an artist, unless you feel you are really hopeless. Use the money instead to upgrade your make up, practice some looks ahead.
