Different/Unusual Hen ideas

Have been tasked to organise a hen party for next year. Want to do something different from the norm. UK or abroad considered, but rather UK due to cost. Probably will be 10-15 aged between late 30s and early 50s.... Anyone got any ideas.....?

Not sure exactly when it is, but I’d have loved something like the Battersea Park immersive “Grease the movie” experience - looks like lots of fun. But I expect it’s seasonal and maybe won’t suit your timetable

I hired a canal boat we could take our own drinks and good! Stopped for lunch and was brilliant fun!

I'd start by thinking about what the bride and others would enjoy - is dancing a definate? Nightclub or dinner? Fun and camp or more sophisticated?

I've been to some with activities which seemed to be picked just so the organiser could tick off the 'did an activity' box - painting plates and cups can be fun with kids, but is it something a group of 30 year olds really want to do together? Organised fun often isn't that much fun.

One of the best hens I was at was drinks, dinner, dancing in brides home town we had a total blast - back to hers afterwards as a couple of people staying over, stayed up chatting for hours. No big expense, no significant travel, but so much fun.

Will probably get scolded but our older lady hen group did a weekend at center parcs and everyone still chats about how fantastic it was. Price was comparable to a large air bnb tbh

Go for a curry and round the pubs. Club or karaoke. Bride wears a little veil. Get some penis straws. Bring back the old ways 😬

Go for a meditation weekend in a peaceful setting.
