Hi. I have a wedding in December. I have bought a navy bardot dress. It's quite heavy fabric but I'm wondering what to wear on my feet as I'm no good with heels. Could I wear boots? I also need to work out what to wear on top. I'm considering a wrap or pashmina. I'm 5'2 and really need right combo. Thanks.

I am also a shortie and I think I’d want a little bit of heel, even just a low kitten heel or you can get some nice block ones. Can you tolerate any kind of heel?

A wrap or pashmina would be lovely with the dress and mirror the Bardot neckline. As it is winter you could go for a rich fabric like cashmere or velvet. I love (faux) fur shawls/ shrugs for special occasions in winter but know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea.
