Is this dress appropriate for a wedding guest?

It's yellow but wouldn't matter if it was white.

To respond to the OP, I wouldn't wear white or whiteish dresses to a wedding. If possible I would prefer not to clash with bridesmaids, you don't often know until the day.

Imho, this dress is too white or close to that to wear to a wedding. If you don't confirm to that tradition or the brides of weddings you attend don't care, it doesn't matter.

The OP has confirmed the dress is yellow and not white.
The dress looks lovely for a wedding.

I think you could add a yellow blazer depending on weather or a cream faux fur coat

If it is yellow rather than white, I still think it's too white and wouldn't wear this to a family wedding.

Even if the bride said it was ok, there are plenty of other lovely dresses to wear.

That is my opinion. I wouldn't care if you/the OP wore it.
