Period on wedding day and considering norethisterone

So I’m getting married end of July and Judy’s realised it’s the first day of my period , I normally get so bloated and because I have anemia I feel awful with tiredness and headaches .
I was wondering if anyone has tried it , ideally I would want to delay the next 2 periods and then not have to take it in July as I’m sure progesterone may cause bloating anyway . Has anyone had it and how did it work in changing future periods ?
Thank you

If that’s what you want to do it may be better just to go on the actual pill for 3 months and run packs together so you don’t have a period.
When I’ve taken this medication it makes the next period much heavier and symptoms worse so I’m not sure you’d want that 2 months in a row

Have you taken it before ? I did this recently for the first time as I was due on during a foreign holiday . I suffered the most awful side affects and wish I’d not bothered . I appreciate that this won’t be the same for everyone but for me , I would rather have just dealt with my period .

I only took it once, for a beach holiday. Had all my period symptoms except bleeding. Agree running pill back to back might be better

Take it soon, for your next period. Delay it by 2 weeks then you will not be due on during your wedding. Be careful taking it during your wedding - I have terrible mood swings on it. To the point I nearly ruined our family holiday last year as I couldn’t shake it off!

That’s what I meant , I plan to delay it in the next 2 periods and my 3rd one ( my wedding ) won’t need medication as the taxes will have changed .
I hope it works . Thanks for the advice

The pill leaves me feeling awful so being on it 3 months would be awful

Thanks that’s my fear so my plan is taking it the next 2 periods so by my wedding the period dates have changed and I don’t need to take it . Fingers crossed it will work . I’m getting married abroad in really hot weather and I feel awful during my period

I take it as typically end up with my period for every major holiday or life event! No side effects for me luckily it’s just a pain remembering to take it for 3 times a day so I’d do what you say and try and adjust a few months before so you’re not having to remember to take it over your wedding and to avoid any side effects.
