Small wedding

I’m after finding somewhere small to get married. Close family for ceremony and then just a small party afterwards. But I don’t need all the lights, decorations and big things that make it cost £20000+

small registry wedding, maybe hire a hall or meal afterwards. Something small and lowkey. Any ideas? Based in Kent.

We got married at Canterbury registry office and then had a reception at cathedral Lodge.

What time of year will it be? Could you have a garden party?

A couple of DFs have got married in Bridesmaid’s dresses and have looked stunning. They usually come in at a fraction of the price of a Wedding dress too.

I married in my church, hall reception with cake cutting and toast then had a meal and live band with just close family and friends (35 people) upstairs in my local pub, admittedly it quite a fancy pub. Total cost about £6k
